Ando Fuchs’ Monochrome Journey: A Visual Storytelling Slideshow
Ando Fuchs was born in San Candido and raised in Sexten, located in South Tyrol, northern Italy. After the early death of his parents, he was brought up by a foster family. Today, Ando lives and works in Sillian, Austria, near the Italian border. Despite having no formal education in photography, he has become an accomplished photographer. His knowledge and skills were self-taught, developed over years of passion and dedication.
Ando began his photography journey in 2009, initially exploring various styles without a clear direction. His work was primarily in color and lacked a cohesive concept. However, his first visit to Venice marked a significant turning point. The encounter with the enchanting city profoundly influenced him, leading him to embrace black-and-white photography, which now defines his artistic identity. The human figure became central to his work, with emotions and storytelling taking precedence over technical perfection.
For Ando, photography is not merely about capturing a flawless image but conveying a narrative and evoking deep emotions in the viewer. His distinctive style and creative vision have garnered international recognition, with his work being cited as a reference in colleges, universities, and photography schools worldwide, including in South Korea, Japan, India, Australia, the USA, Canada, Poland, Portugal, and England.
Ando's guiding philosophy can be summarized in his famous slogan: "Do not ask me with which camera and which lens the picture was taken, but tell me what the picture is able to tell you."

And our gov't made the lives of these peoples, so much more difficult! Aside from that travesty, it cost billions and perhaps trillions in taxpayer dollars. Just seems wrong...ya know?

There is a later National Geographic magazine with an article about her. Sorry, but i don't remember the exact month and year of the later magazine, i only can say that i saw the later magazine for sure.
@@86-08 Thanks
The story I had read was she had been ra ped earlier and was in a state of shock when he took the picture. Years later he found her again and they did another story. Don’t know if that is true.
I read the article years ago...at that time, she was married and had 2 sons...but, as mentioned, her appearance was totally changed...

@@Hirohito_iLoveYouDon't you understand? New things mean the end of the world for some people. Like old things do to the others.
I bet she takes fantastic photos
Alguien que ha visto tanto... Qué será lo que está viendo en ese momento que merece una foto❓ sin duda es algo extraordinario, como la fotógrafa 💕
Reminds me of this old man we saw when we went to the top of mountain. He was a professional photographer for many years. We showed interest in his equipments, because he was taking a photograph of the dimming sky. Then later on he took photos of us in his cam and sent it to us. I was touched. As we were Muslim women wearing modest clothing in a city that has muslim minorities. 🥺🥰 May God bless him. Until now he continues taking photograph and has his own ig account
